Introduction
: Curragh Chase is a small forest park 20 km from Limerick city with family cycling trails. The longest loop is 3.8 km and trails are shared between walkers and MTBs. No technical skills are required.
During the 1800s Curragh Chase was the estate of the poet and author Aubrey de Vere. The ruins of his residence, Curragh Chase house can be seen overlooking the lake.

: From Limerick, take the N69 for approximately 20 km. The forest is on the left just after the village of Kilcornan.
