Introduction:
A great day out in Denmark. The Mols Bjerge hills form one of the highest areas above sea level in Denmark. It is to the east of Ebeltoft. It is possibleto buy groceries in Knebel, and in Ebeltoft, only 18 km away, you will find a variety of shops, restaurants and sights.
The area has great woodland country full of colourful wild flowers, especially in spring and summer. There are several Bronze Age burial mounds. The area is protected and is likely to become a national park. There is an unmanned visitor centre here. Pretty Area.

Trail Head Information:
Star at: Femmøller. Going counter clockwise, along the road to Rønde. About 300-400 m along the road, turn left and follow the brook. Now you are on the track.
Femmøller : The name of the village means five mills. Years ago there were five water mills in the village. Now some of them are restaurants.

Nearby is a beach where the water is shallow, calm and around the coves 'Knebel Vig' and 'Kalø Vig'. By 'Knebel Vig' you will find the 3 km long and quiet beach 'Thorup Strand'. With its shallow water and the fine, sandy bottom the beach is a great place to relax after the ride.
Nearby is Ebeltoft. Ebeltoft is one of Denmark's oldest and most pretty towns - situated in a unique nature area.
